Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, I've always enjoyed exploring & spending time in the outdoors.   Nature is the ultimate source of inspiration for me.  In Landscape Design, my philosophy & design process pays homage to the natural processes that create the physical world around us.   In Art, I am most drawn to botanicals & landscapes.  Plants, even when I feel I know them well, still boast tiny beautiful surprises at a closer look, moments that beg to be painted and shared.

I have a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon.  Before moving to Salida, CO in 2015 I lived in Denver and worked for many years as a Horticulturist at the Denver Botanic Gardens. After a stint at Monarch Mountain as Assistant Director of Marketing, I am thrilled to be back in the freelance world.
